IWC
Aquatimer
This IWC Aquatimer 1812 was a rare find. It comes with the orinal papers and box.
The IWC Aquatimer was first introduced in the 1960s, marking IWC's entry into the world of professional dive watches. The initial models, like the reference 812, featured a simple and functional design, with an emphasis on water resistance and legibility. In 1972, when IWC changed its reference system to four-digit model numbers, the watch got reference number 1812.
Both refereneces are exact the same. It stayed in production until 1982.
Over 25 years, IWC produced only around 2,000 pieces of the first-generation Aquatimer.
