A very special Rolex Cosmograph Daytona Ref. 6239 from 1963, featuring a beautiful silver dial with black subdials that have slowly developed a subtle tropical brown tone over the years. This natural aging gives the watch a lot of character and makes every detail of the dial even more interesting. With its early 923xxx serial number, this example comes from the very beginning of Daytona production, making it a great piece of Rolex history. The dial has the clean two-line “Rolex Cosmograph” signature without the Daytona text, which is one of the things we really like about these early examples. The watch features a 37mm stainless steel case, a steel tachymeter bezel, and a Jubilee bracelet that suits the vintage look perfectly.
