The Rolex GMT-Master II ref. 126711CHNR, introduced in 2018, is a modern reinterpretation of the classic “Root Beer” GMT, combining Oystersteel with Rolex’s proprietary Everose gold in a two-tone Rolesor construction. It features a 40 mm case, a black dial, and a distinctive bidirectional 24-hour bezel with a brown and black Cerachrom ceramic insert, designed for tracking a second time zone via the arrow-tipped GMT hand. Powered by the calibre 3285 with approximately 70 hours of power reserve, it also offers a jumping local hour function for travel convenience and Superlative Chronometer precision. The watch is fitted with an Oyster bracelet in steel and Everose gold, equipped with the Oysterlock clasp and Easylink extension system.
