The Cartier Santos-Dumont ref. WSSA0046 is a super clean, dressy take on one of Cartier’s most historic designs, originally created in 1904 for aviator Alberto Santos-Dumont. This modern version comes in a slim steel case (about 43.5 × 31.4 mm but only ~7.3 mm thick), which makes it wear really elegant and almost flat on the wrist. The standout detail is the black lacquer dial with Roman numerals, paired with a matching lacquered bezel and those signature exposed screws, giving it a slightly more modern, monochrome look compared to classic white-dial Santos models. It runs on the hand-wound calibre 430 MC with around 38 hours of power reserve.
